Internal Funding Opportunities

Texas A&M is committed to helping faculty advance their research portfolio across all disciplines. These programs are designed to support the generation of preliminary data, pursue new directions or collaborations, or boost an existing collaboration toward a major proposal submission.

Advancing Discovery to Market (ADM)

ADM provides resources to support the development or demonstrate the commercial potential of recent discoveries within the Texas A&M research enterprise. This $5 million program is open to researchers, faculty, staff, and students of Texas A&M University and three state agencies.

Arts and Humanities Fellows

The Arts & Humanities Fellows Program was created to stimulate interactions among scholarly and artistic faculty at Texas A&M as well as nationally and internationally.

Panther RISE Grant
Program (PRISE)

The Panther RISE Grant Program (PRISE) is an agreement between Prairie View A&M University and Texas A&M University to establish productive research and scholarly collaborations to better position themselves to pursue multidisciplinary research and innovation projects. The PRISE program is open to tenured/tenure-track faculty members from all disciplines.

Presidential Transformational Teaching Grants

PTTG is a seed-grant program designed to further Texas A&M's commitments to the three pillars of advancing transformational learning; enhancing discovery, promoting/encouraging innovation and expanding impact on our community, state, nation, and world.

Research Development Fund

The Research Development Fund (RDF) is utilized for strategic investments that support the total Texas A&M research enterprise and catalyze new ventures. This fund will support research across those administrative units participating in the fund.

Research Leadership Fellowship (RLF)

The intent of the RLF program is to foster the next generation of research leaders and encourage the submission of interdisciplinary grant proposals. Fellows participate in leadership training, fellowship events and proposal development.

Targeted Proposal Teams (TPT)

The TPT program aims to enhance Texas A&M University's research enterprise by fostering interdisciplinary research. TPT seeks to leverage extramural funding and promote collaborative and interdisciplinary research of national and global significance.
