Office of Postdoctoral Affairs

The Office of Postdoctoral Affairs serves and advocates for postdoctoral researchers and the faculty who train them at Texas A&M University. The university is proud to train over 400 postdoctoral scholars who are performing research in diverse fields ranging from engineering to medicine to humanities.

Postdoctoral community is vital for the research enterprise at Texas A&M. This group of research scholars require specialized mentoring and training opportunities that differ from those provided to undergraduate and graduate students, university staff, and faculty. The Office of Postdoctoral Affairs will address these needs.

Mission

To be an advocate for postdoctoral researchers and postdoctoral specific interests, to provide professional development training and create career development opportunities for postdoctoral researchers, and to be a central resource for the postdoctoral community.
