Division of Research Mission Statement
Texas A&M is one of the world’s leading research universities. The Division of Research will advance and strengthen all aspects of the research enterprise by implementing an enhanced, integrated, and strategic approach to:

International Ocean Discovery Program
Manages the science operations of the riserless drilling vessel JOIDES Resolution, archiving the scientific data and samples and logs that are collected, and producing and disseminating program publications.

Private Enterprise Research Center
PERC provides Texas A&M University, the state and the nation with analysis of important policy issues. PERC actively supports academic research and market-oriented solutions to public policy problems.

Texas Real Estate Research Center
Texas Real Estate Research Center is the nation's largest publicly funded organization devoted to real estate research. Its staff conducts research on financial, socioeconomic, public policy, trade, legal, land use and local market analysis issues related to real estate.
Texas Sea Grant College Program
Supports research, extension, outreach, and education programs that benefit the citizens, businesses, and communities of the state. Its scientific research has made demonstrable differences in the lives of Texans and the world at large.
