Faculty Fellow for Strategic Initiatives and Partnerships
The Division of Research is requesting applications for a Faculty Fellow for Strategic Initiatives and Partnerships. The fellow will gain administrative and leadership experience and assist the Division of Research with specific initiatives. The fellow will work closely with the Associate Vice President for Research, Strategic Initiatives, to advance research development and foster interdisciplinary and translational research at Texas A&M University. Specifically, the fellow will support i) assessment and development of collaborative strategic research initiatives, ii) faculty engagement activities including workshops and brainstorming sessions aimed at generating actionable ideas, and iii) engagement with external stakeholders including funding agencies, National Laboratories, and The Texas A&M University System regional universities.
The Faculty Fellow position is funded at 25 percent effort distributed over 11 months. Funding for the position is for one year from the start date with the understanding that the position is renewable pending available funding and overall satisfactory performance. The position is open to current Texas A&M associate or full professors. Preference is for the individual to reside at the College Station campus.
