Panther RISE (PRISE) announces its 2024 request for proposals

This seed-funding program supports and enhances productive academic collaborations between Prairie View A&M University (PVAMU) and Texas A&M University.

Administered jointly by PVAMU’s Division of Research and Innovation and Texas A&M’s Division of Research, PRISE is open to tenured or tenure-track faculty members from all disciplines at both institutions.

To apply, two faculty investigators (one from each institution) must submit a collaborative proposal by Monday, April 29, 2024. Their proposal may support a creative, research or scholarly project.

Successful collaborations will receive $40,000 total, with PVAMU providing $20,000 to its investigator and Texas A&M providing $20,000 to its investigator.

Submission instructions and other details are posted on the PRISE webpage.

We encourage all faculty at PVAMU and Texas A&M to apply.
