Call for applications: Faculty Fellow for Health

The Division of Research is pleased to invite applications for the position of Faculty Fellow for Health. This role offers a unique opportunity for an interested faculty member to gain valuable administrative and leadership experience while assisting and contributing to the strategic initiatives of the Division of Research. The selected fellow will work closely with the Associate Vice Presidents for Research, serving an important role in fostering connectivity and continuity between the Division of Research and Texas A&M Health.
The Faculty Fellow for Health will be instrumental in advancing health-related research across Texas A&M University’s research enterprise. Key areas of interest include building transdisciplinary programs in biomedical, health and life sciences, with the goal of establishing national leadership in clinical trials and National Institutes of Health-funded research. The fellow will also engage with stakeholders to establish a robust research network, ensuring that Texas A&M is well positioned to capitalize on external funding opportunities in health-related research.
This position, which reports to the Vice President for Research, is funded at 25% effort over an 11-month period. Funding for the position is for one year from the start date with the understanding that the position is renewable pending available funding and overall satisfactory performance. The position is open to current Texas A&M associate or full professors.
