Nominations now accepted for next class of Hagler Fellows

The Hagler Institute for Advanced Study at Texas A&M University is accepting nominations for the 2025-26 class of Hagler Fellows through Sept. 6. All faculty are encouraged to complete a nomination form, which requires approval by the department head and dean before submission to the Hagler Institute.

The Hagler Institute program is an opportunity for Texas A&M researchers and students to work side by side with some of the most brilliant scholars in the world.

The institute selects new fellows from among top scholars who have distinguished themselves through outstanding professional accomplishments or significant recognition.

Current and past Hagler Fellows include several members or fellows of major scientific or professional academies that include the National Academy of Sciences, the National Academy of Medicine, the National Academy of Engineering, the American Academy of Arts and Sciences, and equivalent academies around the world, including the Royal Society in the United Kingdom.

Through the recruitment of its Hagler Fellows, The Hagler Institute for Advanced Study raises the profile of Texas A&M—nationally and worldwide—and plays a significant role in retaining outstanding faculty-researchers and recruiting quality faculty members and students.
