Research Development Services (RDS) advances research capacity and competitiveness at Texas A&M University by supporting faculty in securing external funding and developing strategic research initiatives.

Services

Multidisciplinary Proposal Development

Supports large and complex funding opportunities by providing a full array of proposal development services, including analyzing and mapping federal priorities to university strengths, weekly newsletters and targeted funding opportunities, team building, proposal management and graphics support, and internal and external reviews.

Limited Submission Process

Manages and facilitates the limited submission process for Texas A&M University and system agencies. Services include a comprehensive list of identified opportunities, collaboration with sponsors to determine number of seats, facilitation of the review process when needed, and a weekly newsletter.

Professional Development / Early Career Faculty

Supports faculty through professional development and proposal assistance for early career awards. Services include grant writing workshops, seminars, and writing groups, targeted support for early career programs (NSF, DOE, DARPA, AFOSR, ONR), proposal planning and development consultations, and strategic review and resubmission support.

Private Sector Engagement

Helps bridge the gap between faculty innovation and external investment by cultivating partnerships with industry and philanthropic foundations. Services include curated prosecting opportunities, relationship management, engagement workshops and seminars, narrative coaching, and proposal and logistical support.
