Department of Defense SBIR 2017.1 and STTR 2017. A solicitations will be pre-released on Nov. 30 and open Jan. 10 with a Feb. 8 deadline. Join SBIR/STTR expert, Becky Aistrup, for this informative workshop, which will provide detailed instruction on preparing a proposal to meet the mission and standards of the Dept. of Defense SBIR/STTR programs.

Commercialization for SBIR-Stage Companies

With commercialization plans being a key differentiator in the SBIR/STTR programs, it is important to know what the agencies are looking for and how to go about developing good plans. This session will discuss the expectations that various agencies have for commercialization plans in your Phase I and Phase II projects, where to find cost effective market research resources, what quality “support & commitment letters” are, and more.

Optional One-on-One Meetings with Becky Aistrup  - Afternoon of Thursday, Nov. 3
Visit with Becky and discuss questions related to your specific project or other general SBIR/STTR topics and agencies.

Becky’s professional background includes over 20 years of experience working within the medical, defense, aerospace, biotech, advanced materials and electronics industries, and consulting with technology companies on SBIR/STTR funding. Becky holds a B.A. degree in Chemistry from the University of Kansas, an M.B.A. in Marketing Management from the University of Minnesota.
