Structural Biology

The structural biology program at Texas A&M is comprised of several research groups that conduct interdisciplinary research and require similar research infrastructure needs. The goal of structural biology is to develop a molecular-level understanding of structure-function relationships, to understand the structural changes introduced by chemical modifications, and to understand how those changes affect the biology of the organism in which they occur.

The ILSB facilitates ongoing collaborations and expansion of life-science-related programs, including undergraduate and graduate research and training grants.
