Event Information

From Research Development Services in the Division of Research

  • The Specific Aims Clinic will meet three times during the Fall 2018 Semester.
  • Participants will share drafts of their Specific Aims and provide and receive critiques from their peers.
  • At the kickoff meeting, experienced NIH application reviewers will critique the Aims drafts of selected participants.
  • At the second and third meetings, participants will read and provide feedback on each other's Aims drafts.
  • Junior faculty and those who have not previously applied to the National Institutes of Health for grant support are encouraged to consider attending.
  • Open to PI-eligible researchers only.

  • In addition to registering (click "Sign up!", below), submit your Specific Aims draft and NIH Biographical Sketch to  by 11:00 p.m. on September 6, 2018.
  • NIH provides general instructions for preparing the Specific Aims. Contact the facilitators (see below) if you need additional information.

Note about TTVN: At this time, this clinic is not offered via TTVN or through another web-based program. If you are a Texas A&M researcher at a campus outside of College Station and would like more information on this topic, please contact Dr. Ivy and/or Dr. Papke.
