Texas A&M CRC Incentive Grant Program
The Texas A&M Cancer Research Council
Research and Prevention Incentive Grant Program
Request for Applications
The goal of the Texas A&M Cancer Research Council (CRC) is to enhance the chances of Texas A&M researchers to compete effectively for CPRIT awards. As a strategy to achieve that goal, the CRC has established an Incentive Grant Program through resources made available by the Texas A&M Health Science Center, Texas A&M University, and Texas A&M AgriLife Research.
The Incentive Grant Program provides two types of awards:
- Research Collaboration Grants provide funds of up to $2,500 for a short duration (6 months) that may be used to support meetings and workshops designed to explore development of collaborative, interdisciplinary research programs.
- Research Seed Grants provide funds of up to $20,000 to Texas A&M researchers for a one (1) year duration. The purpose of Research Seed Grants is to provide support for Texas A&M faculty members to gather preliminary data in support of a targeted CPRIT grant application.
Open to all faculty members from Texas A&M University, Texas A&M Health Science Center, and Texas A&M AgriLife Research
We expect to award six (6) Seed Grants and six (6) Collaboration Grants in this initial offering.
All grant applications should be submitted in PDF format via e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org
Due date: April 20, 2012
Expected award date: June 1, 2012
Applications will be evaluated by a panel of scientists from The Texas A&M University System.
