Microbiota Research Networking Event
This event brings together Texas A&M principal investigators who are interested in microbial communities in the broadest sense including
- Impact on human health and disease
- Impact on animal health and disease
- Ecological and agricultural microbiomes
- Meta-omics and bioinformatics
- Novel intersections with microbiota
Presentations and breakout discussions will create awareness of ongoing microbiota research, reveal areas of expertise,enable opportunities for collaboration and identify current obstacles in
advancing microbiota research at Texas A&M University. PIs are invited to present their ongoing
microbiota-related research in a flash talk highlighting their area of expertise.
Facilitator-led breakout tables will address four currently identified theme areas: human health and disease; animal health and disease; ecological and agricultural microbiomes; and tools and technologies.
