NIH Resubmission Proposal Writing Groups—Fall 2015

For researchers who are interested in resubmitting a proposal to the NIH, the Division of Research is offering the NIH Resubmission Proposal Writing Series during the Fall 2015 semester. This semester-long writing group, facilitated by Dr. John Ivy, Senior Research Development Officer in the Division of Research, will be offered to help Texas A&M researchers prepare a competitive resubmission proposal to submit to the NIH in 2016.

Following an Orientation Meeting, participants will be asked to draft a resubmission proposal Introduction and revised Specific Aims. John Ivy will be available for one-on-one discussions of these documents, your Summary Statement, and your proposal development strategy. Finally, small groups of writers will meet every two to three weeks during the Fall Semester to critique each others' writing.
