NIH Specific Aims Clinic – Fall 2017

Program Goals:

  • To craft a clear, compelling, peer-critiqued Specific Aims page for a future NIH proposal
  • Provide and receive peer feedback
  • Obtain proposal development strategy, insight, and assistance 


  • An initial kickoff meeting (Tuesday, Sep. 5), then four workshop meetings every three weeks during the 2017 Fall semester
  • Participants will read and provide feedback on each other’s drafts at each meeting
  • Additional one-on-one assistance available as needed
  • No fee to participate 

Target Audience:

We expect this clinic to be especially beneficial for junior faculty and faculty who have not previously applied to NIH.
