Fall 2022 Travel Award Recipients

Five postdoctoral researchers received travel awards for the Fall 2022 merit-based competition

The Division of Research (DOR), Office of Postdoctoral Affairs (OPA), and the Texas A&M Postdoctoral Association (Texas A&M PDA) are pleased to announce that five postdoctoral research scholars received travel awards of $500 each to attend professional conferences during July 1-December 31, 2022. These awards are independently judged by a panel of faculty and postdoctoral scholars and are scored on merit-based criteria.

The awardees represent: Agrilife (2), Science (2), and Engineering (1). Congratulations to our awardees and their research advisors: Joydeep Chakraborty (PI Patrick J. Stover), Priscilla Ayine (PI Alexandra L. MacMillan), Michael Zawaski (PI Michael Tice), Elizabeth George (PI Courtney Fitzpatrick), and Hui Wang (PI Sarah Wolff).
