Research Communications
Research Communications supports the research enterprise by delivering clear, consistent and timely information from the Division of Research to the Texas A&M research community.
We work in close partnership with the Vice President for Research, Senior Administrative Leadership Team (SALT) and our division units to diagnose communications challenges and develop pragmatic, audience-focused solutions. Our goal is to reduce confusion, improve understanding and support effective engagement across the Texas A&M research enterprise.
When to Contact Us
Contact Research Communications when a message or initiative has division-wide impact, introduces new or changing requirements or processes, requires coordinated messaging across units, or would benefit from clearer explanation or broader visibility. Early engagement helps us provide the most effective support.
How to Submit a Project
To discuss a communications need or request support, contact rcomm@tamu.edu or submit a request through [intake link]. A member of our team will follow up within 36 hours to define your needs and discuss next steps.
What We Do
We provide end-to-end communications support for the Division of Research, supporting communications efforts from initial planning through execution and delivery. This includes clarifying goals and audiences, developing messages and approaches, planning campaigns or events, creating content and creative assets and coordinating delivery across appropriate channels.
Services include campaign planning, event planning, visual identity, , web design, visualization, animation production, video production, copywriting, communications strategy, graphic design and branding compliance
How We Work
We are a collaborative partner and advisor. We work closely with the VPR, Senior Administrative Leadership Team (SALT) and Division of Research units to align messaging, reduce duplication and improve consistency in the division’s communications to its stakeholders.
We tailor our support based on scope, audience and impact and we will recommend efficient, right-sized solutions whenever possible.
