03/27/2024
Sent on behalf of Dr. Jack G. Baldauf, Vice President for Research
The Research Leadership Fellowships (RLF) program is now accepting applications for Round 2.
A $1 million annual program, RLF develops junior faculty into research leaders. RLF is open to tenured and tenure-track Texas A&M University faculty at two levels:
- Advanced assistant professor (four years in the position at the time of submission)
- Early associate professor (within two years of promotion at the time of submission)
Candidates must receive a nomination from their dean or their dean’s delegate. In addition, they must be eligible to apply as principal investigators for external funding. Exceptions may be considered individually.
Fellows will receive an award of $75,000 for one year.
Proposal submissions are due May 1. For additional details, visit the Division of Research website or contact Associate Vice President for Research and Research Integrity Officer Gerianne Alexander at galexander@tamu.edu.
RLF is part of ASCEND, a collaborative-research, seed-grant initiative launched in January 2023.
All eligible faculty are strongly encouraged to apply.
