Texas A&M Bioscience Business Accelerator

The Texas A&M Bioscience Business Accelerator facility is designed to:
- encourage the growth of startup companies in the bioscience sector;
- allow biomedical device companies to optimize their capital and obtain maximal value for research dollars;
- train and meet the needs of scientists, technicians, and other professionals in the biosciences; and
- serve as a key resource for industry personnel seeking innovation and collaborative research opportunities with strategic partners.
Emerging life science technology companies can take advantage of the opportunity to collaborate with a top-tier research university and establish their presence on campus in this dedicated business accelerator space. By leasing space in the Texas A&M Bioscience Business Accelerator companies will maximize their access to comprehensive research services and product development support—from inception through clinical trials. Organizations leasing accelerator space in the Research Park will:
- gain access to furnished office space adjacent to flexible or completed wet lab space;
- share facilities with Texas A&M University researchers, students and The Texas A&M University System's Office of Technology Commercialization;
- take advantage of shared infrastructure and services, such as conference rooms and meeting spaces, reception and mail services, training facilities, and a 150-seat auditorium;
- access other university amenities (at additional cost), such as communications, IT, and network services; laboratory services, including access to TIPS imaging core (Siemens 3 Tesla MRI with C-arm, 128 slice PET/CT, digital radiography, echocardiography, and fixed cardiac cath lab with 3-D capabilities); and parking in adjacent TIPS parking lot; and
- capitalize on advisory services provided by the Research Valley Innovation Center (RVIC).*
*The Research Valley Innovation Center is part of the Research Valley Partnership, an unrelated private entity.
