The Imaging Science Research Interest Group presents the Fall 2016 Imaging Science Spotlight Series event featuring Dr. W. E. Moerner, Harry S. Mosher Professor of Chemistry and Applied Physics at Stanford University and  recipient of the 2014 Nobel Prize in Chemistry for his role in developing microscopy techniques that have allowed scientists to visualize precise molecular mechanisms inside living cells,  opening new windows to how life can be studied.
