NIH Specific Aims Writing Clinic

ABOUT
Program Goals:

  • To craft a clear, compelling, peer-critiqued Specific Aims page for a future NIH proposal.
  • Provide and receive peer feedback
  • Obtain proposal development strategy, insight, and assistance

Format:

  • An initial kickoff meeting (Tuesday, Sep. 5), then four workshop meetings every three weeks during the Fall 2017 semester.
  • Participants will read and provide feedback on each other’s drafts at each workshop meeting.
  • Additional one-on-one assistance available as needed.
  • No fee to participate.


Target Audience:

  • We expect this clinic to be especially beneficial for junior faculty and faculty who have not applied to NIH previously.
