VPRA-NSF Grant Management Services
On Behalf of Carol Cantrell, Senior Associate Vice President for Research Administration ~
Computing & Information Services (CIS), has issued the following announcement:
Texas A&M University grant applicants and awardees can access National Science Foundation (NSF) grant management services at Research.gov using their NetID and password. Through Texas A&M's membership in the InCommon Federation, streamlined NetID access is becoming available for many online academic services. NSF transitioned all project reporting from FastLane to Research.gov. PIs/Co-PIs now use Research.gov to meet all NSF project reporting requirements.
To log in to Research.gov with your NetID and password, choose "InCommon" in the Login dropdown, then select "Texas A&M University." Note: If logging in to Research.gov with InCommon for the first time, you will need to click "Activate Now" to complete the login process. For complete login instructions, click "How Do I Login?" on the Research.gov home page.
Logging in with university credentials through InCommon provides greater convenience and account security, and reduces administrative burdens of maintaining multiple user IDs and passwords. Texas A&M's InCommon membership simplifies access to nih.gov, muse.jhu.edu, hathitrust.org and other research resources.
Please contact Help Desk Central at (979.845.8300 or email@example.com) if you have any questions regarding this process.
